       Passiflora edulis with Epicharis schrottkyi
Google

Epicharis are large solitary or semi-solitary bees. Frequent visitors to P. edulis, they are good pollinators, though they do have a very effective sting. The disadvantage for commercial growers is that they do not live in hives so cannot be moved to fields as required.
