September 2005. Greg Cunningham reports, 'Today Don Mahoney, manager of Strybing Greenhouses, has got a fruit full of seed from his well developed P. parritae vine from home. It had about 120 seeds! Don says it may be the first time parritae has ever produced seed in cultivation. He's not sure if the fruit is straight parritae, or from a flower he crossed with antioquiensis pollen.'
