My hybrid Passiflora 'Star of Surbiton'. Named in the International Passiflora Register (2003). P. 'Star of Bristol' x P. 'Purple Haze'. Medium vigour with very variable foliage, but very free flowering. Large flowers, up to 12.5cm across flattened, that stay open longer than other similar crosses. For those puzzled as to how these parents can give rise to such a white flower, the original 'Star of' series by John Vanderplank were all P. 'Amethyst' x P. caerulea 'Constance Eliott', not x P. caerulea as was widely thought.
