Yucca Min -8°C 18°F June-July Ok I'm not a passion flower..so why am I here? This Yucca started as a 3'' section of sawn off log given to me by my mother about 27 years ago. Suddenly after all these years for the first time this plant is producing a flower spike. This led me to ask why? I'm still not sure which variable triggered this, but it initiated my interest in the science section on this site with regard to how plants control flowering. I believe in the wild it would be pollinated by moths & is not self fertile so I do not expect fruit. |
